How artifacts work

Artifacts Are Active Abilities, Not Passive Gear

An artifact is something you trigger. You equip up to three, each one has its own cost and rhythm, and the effect lands when you use it.

  1. 1

    3 artifact slots

You can carry at most three artifacts at a time, so every choice competes for a slot.

  2. 2

    Use the artifact

Artifacts are used actively. Activation describes how: Instant, Channeled, Charged or a Quiver behavior.

  3. 3

    Soul cost and cooldown

Most artifacts spend Souls and almost every one has a cooldown before it can be used again.

  4. 4

    Active effect

The effect resolves when you use the artifact: damage, defense, support, summons or a status.

  5. 5

    Gear and Enchantment synergy

Some Effects and Enchantments react to artifact use, so the artifact becomes part of a build loop.

An Artifact is used actively. A Talisman is a passive effect that is always on while equipped. They are different systems, even when they sit next to each other in the inventory.

Cooldown

Cooldown Explorer: Fast to Slow

Cooldowns run from 4 sec to 27 sec. Short-cooldown artifacts are frequent, small-cycle abilities; long-cooldown artifacts are rare, big-moment abilities.

Bar length shows the cooldown before the artifact can be used again. It is a rhythm comparison, not a strength ranking.

Elements

Browse by Element

Some artifacts carry an element. Element changes the damage or status an ability applies, and it is not the same as a build role.

Quivers

Quiver Artifacts

Quivers modify or provide ranged shots, so their behavior is different from instant or channeled ability artifacts.

Quivers are ranged artifacts. Their activation is expressed as Quiver behavior instead of Instant, Channeled or Charged.

What Do You Want Your Artifact to Do?

Artifact value depends heavily on the build loop, so start from the role you want to fill instead of a single global ranking.

Roles follow the build uses an artifact supports. The same artifact can appear in more than one role.

Possible effects

Possible Random Effects

Artifacts roll random effects from a shared artifact pool, plus a small set of support and companion additions for the artifacts that can use them.

Shared artifact effects

Every artifact can roll these 8 effects.

Support and companion additions

Support and companion artifacts can also roll these effects on top of the shared pool.

  • Venomancer
  • Veterinarian

Eligibility tells you which effects can appear on an artifact. The exact roll chance is not published data, so we do not show a percentage.

Enchantments

Enchantments That Trigger on Artifact Use

A group of Armor enchantments triggers when you use an artifact. This is where artifact cooldown turns into a real build decision.

Cooldown and trigger frequency

A shorter cooldown creates more natural trigger opportunities for these enchantments. That does not make a short-cooldown artifact automatically stronger, because its own effect and Soul economy still matter.

Trigger frequency is a rhythm effect, not a damage number. Judge it together with the artifact's own effect.

Soul economy

Plan Your Soul Usage

Artifacts share one Soul pool with your other Soul systems. Seeing the cost of a loadout is the first step to avoiding a Soul bottleneck.

Example loadout

Soul cost per use60 Souls

This loadout contains 2 Soul-spending artifacts.

Where to Find Artifacts

Each artifact links to the areas it is known to drop in and to the farm finder for a focused search.

An artifact belongs to a region's item pool. The exact chance for one specific artifact is not published data, so we show source membership instead of a made-up percentage.

Data honesty

What We Know vs What the Game Doesn't Expose

Artifact screens show a cooldown and a Soul cost, but they do not show how strong the effect actually is. We keep that boundary visible instead of guessing.

What we know

These fields are recovered for all 40 artifacts and are safe to trust.

  • Cooldown
  • Soul cost
  • Activation

What the game and data do not expose clearly

These exact ability values are not recovered yet. We do not estimate them.

  • Exact damageNot exposed
  • Exact durationNot exposed
  • Exact radiusNot exposed
  • Exact healing amountNot exposed
  • Summoned-unit scalingNot exposed
  • Channel / charge scalingNot exposed

We don't estimate hidden values without a reliable source. An unknown exact value is more useful than a made-up number.
