What quest should I do next in Minecraft Dungeons 2?
Pick the quest you finished last. The Navigator shows the next main quest, the side quests and boss rematches that just opened, and any system unlocks.
What is the main quest order?
The main story is a single 15-quest chain that starts with Escape from Squid Coast and ends with The Final Souldown. The Navigator follows the recorded unlock edges, not a guessed order.
How many main quests are there?
15 core quests, 20 side quests and 7 boss rematches, for 42 quests in total. Only the 15 core quests continue the main story.
Why is this quest locked?
Open the unlock mode and pick the quest. The Navigator walks the recorded prerequisite chain and shows exactly which earlier quests you still have to complete.
How do I unlock boss rematch quests?
A boss rematch only appears after its recorded prerequisite quest. Boss rematches are repeatable, so you can run them again after the first clear.
Why does the Navigator not show an exact map pin?
Quest dependency, objective wording and unlocks are confirmed, but exact objective coordinates and live in-game goal state are not recovered. The map link opens the quest's area instead of a fabricated step pin.
What does The Final Souldown unlock?
Completing the final core quest unlocks Soul Storms and opens the endgame rematch and side quests.
Does the Navigator know where I am in my save?
No. It does not read a save file. You pick your last completed quest or your current objective, and the Navigator answers from the quest graph and your local progress.
