What Does Chain Reaction Do?

Chain Reaction is an enchantment in the Attack category. It applies to Ranged gear and triggers when you use Projectiles. Its effect grows from Tier I to Tier III.
Tier Progression
Every Book enchantment runs from Tier I to Tier III. Each tier improves the same effect, so the tier text shows exactly what changes.
- Tier I
Projectiles have a 20% chance to spawn 4 additional projectiles.
- Tier II
Projectiles have a 30% chance to spawn 6 additional projectiles.
- Tier IIIMAX
Projectiles have a 40% chance to spawn 8 additional projectiles.
Tier upgrades raise values such as damage, duration, count or chance. They are upgrade levels, not rarity colors.
How It Triggers
A trigger is the player action that fires this enchantment. Some enchantments support more than one trigger.
