Capes I can still get

Cape facts are verified against official Minecraft Dungeons II cape, promo and help information on Oct 3, 2026.

At a glance

Cape status at a glance

The current acquisition state of every cape. Status is split into acquisition, entitlement and product availability, because they can disagree.

Availability router

Which capes can I still get?

Start here if you only want what is still reachable. Each row shows how it is acquired and when the window closes.

Availability reflects official information on Oct 3, 2026 and can change with a new promotion.

Unlock methods

How capes are unlocked

Not every cape comes from a code. These are the four real acquisition routes plus the ones still unknown.

  • Account history

Reward for qualifying activity on your account.

  • Edition ownership

    Included with a specific edition.

  • Pre-order entitlement

    Granted for an eligible pre-order.

  • Limited promotion

    Earned through a time-limited campaign.

  • Unknown or future

    Method not yet revealed.

A code is only one route. Account history, edition ownership and pre-order entitlement do not use a code at all.

Cross-game availability

Which game can you wear it in?

A cape can be earned in one product and granted in another. This matrix separates the earning context from the product that receives the reward.

  • Cross-platform

Xbox, PlayStation, PC and Switch. Handled by the platform and account guides, not here.

  • Cross-game

Dungeons II to Minecraft. This is what the matrix above answers.

  • Cross-progression

The same reward entitlement recognised across accounts and platforms.

These three ideas are different. This page only answers cross-game availability.

Limited-time capes

Promo capes and deadlines

Cap promotions have an earning window and often a separate redemption window. Both are shown per cape.

  • Aurora CapeLimited-time

Aurora Cape is earned by watching Minecraft Dungeons II content during the launch WatchTime promotion: 15 minutes on Twitch or 3 minutes on TikTok. You then redeem a personal code. It is a Minecraft Java and Bedrock reward only, not a Dungeons II cape.

  • Corrupted Creeper CapePromotional

Corrupted Creeper Cape is given out through selected Minecraft Dungeons II online and in-person events and promotions. The exact requirement changes with each campaign, so there is no single global unlock and no fixed deadline published.

Eligibility resolver

Which capes can you get?

Answer four questions and the page will say which capes you likely qualify for, which to double-check and which you cannot get through the current method.

  • Did you play Minecraft Dungeons I?

  • Did you pre-order Minecraft Dungeons II?

  • Do you own the Deluxe Edition?

  • Did you complete a current cape promotion?

Based on what you selected. This site cannot read your Microsoft account.

Answer the questions above to see your likely capes.

Always confirm in-game or with official support before assuming a reward is missing.

Troubleshooting

I should have this cape

Pick the cape you expected and work down its entitlement path. These are the real reasons a cape does not appear.

Which cape is missing?

Check in this order

  1. 1Did qualifying Minecraft Dungeons activity exist on the account?
  2. 2Was that activity associated with a Microsoft account?
  3. 3Are you using the same Microsoft account in Dungeons II?
  4. 4Have you launched Minecraft Dungeons II?
  5. 5Has entitlement processing completed?
  6. 6Still missing? Contact Minecraft support with your account and activity details.

A missing cape is usually an account, entitlement-processing or wrong-game issue, not a lost reward. Check the game scope first.

Common cape confusion

The two cases players report most often are both expected behaviour, not bugs.

  • Why is my Soul Cape missing in Minecraft Java or Bedrock?

It is not missing. Soul Cape is currently a Minecraft Dungeons II cosmetic only, so Minecraft Java and Bedrock intentionally do not show it.

  • Why is my Aurora Cape missing in Minecraft Dungeons II?

It is not missing. Aurora Cape is currently a Minecraft Java and Bedrock reward, even though the promotion that earns it is tied to Minecraft Dungeons II.

Other cosmetic rewards

The same promos also grant non-cape cosmetics. They are related, but this page is not a cosmetics hub.

  • Pets

Companion cosmetics such as Twisted Chicken and Blub come from the same reward set.

  • Skins

Character skin variants are granted alongside some cape rewards.

Future Pet and Skin entity families get their own pages. Cape scope stays on capes.
