Values are the published combat stats for each weapon. A higher number is not always better: reach, arc and ammo decide how a weapon actually plays, so compare them for your own playstyle.

FAQ

How do I compare weapons in Minecraft Dungeons 2?

Pick two weapons, or add up to four, and read the metric-by-metric result. The tool compares base DPS, combo damage, reach, stagger, knockback, arc and ranged charged-shot data from the game data layer.

What does combo damage mean?

Combo damage is the total base damage of one full melee attack sequence if every hit connects.

Is combo damage the same as DPS?

No. Combo damage is the total of a sequence; base DPS spreads that damage over the real animation timing. A weapon can hit harder per combo while another produces more DPS.

Do Unique weapons have the same stats as their base weapons?

Not always. Many Uniques change combat values as well as adding a fixed effect, so this tool always reads each weapon from its own data and shows the differences.

Does the comparison include enchantments or Item Power?

No. It compares the underlying weapon data. Enchantments, effects, talismans, player stats and Item Power scaling are not applied.

Can I compare a melee weapon with a bow?

Yes, with Compare across weapon types enabled. Melee and ranged fill different slots and use different models, so that mode explains the differences and does not declare an overall winner.

What is uncharged base DPS?

It is shot damage multiplied by firing rate at the weapon-data level. It is not the same as a charged shot or a sustained fight, where ammo and recharge matter.

How do I know which weapon is better?

There is no single objective score, because reach, DPS, control and coverage are different goals. Use the lens to highlight what matters to you, then continue to a build, farm or matchup tool for that goal.
