How it works

How the Planner Calculates

The planner uses only numbers the current game data closes. Everything else is labelled instead of guessed.

We calculate

  • Published melee and ranged base stats
  • Exact item-to-slot relationships
  • Random effects this exact item can roll
  • Fixed effects of Unique weapons and armor
  • Artifact cooldown and Soul cost
  • Published talisman level values
  • Enchantment tiers, triggers and slot eligibility
  • Shared trigger relationships

We do not invent

  • Unknown artifact damage, heal and radius payloads
  • Unresolved companion HP and damage scaling
  • Missing Item Power combat curves
  • Unrecovered enchantment restriction rules
  • Unconfirmed modifier stacking order

Anything we cannot verify is marked Partial or Unknown, never filled in with a plausible number.

Build planner questions

Build Planner FAQ

How many gear slots are there?
Minecraft Dungeons 2 uses 12 equipment slots: one melee weapon, one ranged weapon, four armor pieces (helmet, chest, leggings, boots), three artifacts and three talismans.
What effects can this item roll?
Open a slot and the planner lists only the random effects this exact item is eligible for. Effects that cannot roll on it are never offered.
Can I put this enchantment on this item?
The planner filters enchantments to the slot that fits, then marks them slot-compatible. Use the Enchantment Checker for full incompatibility rules.
What does this Unique add over the base item?
Selecting a Unique locks its fixed effect and shows the base item it rolls from, so you can see what the Unique part actually adds.
Which parts of my build are not fully verified?
The Data confidence tab counts every exact, partial and unknown value in the current build, including artifact payloads and companion scaling.
